Bonus Episode

An interview with LEGO fans on co-creation

With Jake McKee, Ben, Pierre, James and Steve (LEGO fans)

=====
A few years back, when i was still working at LEGO, I helped kick off
and manage a co-creation project that brought LEGO Train fans together
with LEGO product designers to create a special trains product. Intially
called the Ultimate Train Builder set, the idea was simple - create a
big box of LEGO elements from which you could make a ton of LEGO Train
models.

After many months of work, the set has finally hit the virtual shelves,
and is already proving to be a big success. If you're interested in
checking out the product,  there will be a link in the show notes at
clueunit.com

At a recent fan event, I was able to sit down with 4 of the 10 LEGO fans
involved in the project and talk with them about how the project went,
and any ideas they would suggest for future improvement. The discussion
is incredibly valuable for anyone looking to involve consumers in projects.
