Great podcast. While listening to it I've been thinking that you could put an idea of co-creation into user-centric design process and give it a fresh spin.
Since you're not designing by the waterfall method but more in cyclic stages, you could somehow incorporate the co-creation process in the early stage of design process.
Since approach of prototyping using tiny fingers and going out to users and asking them to prototype for you is already idea happening in the interaction design circles, you could put co-creation concept next to it and get a more formal methodology for product design that might be easier to "sell" to your company :)
